I’m Bernadette Siebers – Nature lover. Mindfulness mentor. Soulful teacher.
Rooted in nature. Trained in experience. Inspired by balance.
Over the past 25 years, I’ve worked in hospitality, led teams across continents, supported hundreds of people on their path to more presence – and most importantly: I’ve walked the path myself.
As the founder of bewithbalance, I now bring together all that I’ve learned. Yoga, breathwork, coaching, mindfulness, energy work – woven into one signature approach that meets you where you are.
But I don’t walk this path alone.

Getting to the bewithbalance home – Guesthouse De Heide – is surprisingly easy and gentle on the planet.
Located in the heart of Europe, you can reach us effortlessly by car, train or plane – and choose the travel option that feels best for you. Low-emission options are available for your conscious mobility choice.

• Closest station: Boxmeer (NL) – we’re happy to help you coordinate a transfer
• Nearby hubs:
– Nijmegen (university city, just 30 min)
– Kleve (DE) – with direct train from Düsseldorf (30 min)
– Venlo (NL) – well connected to the Ruhr area (40 min)

• Closest airport: Weeze / Düsseldorf (NRN) – only 30 minutes away

Once your registration is complete, we’ll provide you with detailed travel info and – if needed – help coordinate your arrival, including shuttle options to make the last part of your journey feel smooth and supported.

Each day begins with a nourishing, abundant breakfast using fresh, healthy ingredients.
Throughout the day, fruits, tea and water are available for you. On select evenings, we’ll share soulful dinners together, often as part of a community cooking experience. The food is plant-forward, mindful and made with love – designed to energize, ground and delight you.
We’re happy to accommodate most dietary preferences or restrictions – just let us know in advance.
What if I need alone time or rest?
Perfect. You’ll have it.
This retreat is not about performance or pressure – it’s about presence.
The schedule is spacious and balanced, with moments for stillness and integration. You’re invited to take breaks, skip sessions if needed, and honour your own rhythm.

How can I book and reserve my spot?
The easiest – and most cost-effective – way to book your retreat is directly with us. Simply email us at connect@bewithbalance.com, and we’ll personally guide you through the next steps.
Your booking is secured in two simple steps:
• A 50% deposit is due within two weeks of booking
• The remaining balance is payable two weeks before the retreat starts

What if something unexpected comes up and I can’t attend?
We know that life doesn’t always go as planned. If you need to cancel, we offer a fair and transparent cancellation policy:
• Up to 4 weeks before the retreat: cancellation is free of charge
• From 4 weeks to 2 weeks before the retreat: 50% of the total amount will be charged
• From 2 weeks before the retreat: 80% of the total amount will be charged
If you’ve booked directly with us, cancellation fees are limited to 50%, even in the last two weeks.

What should I bring?
After registration, you’ll receive a detailed welcome email with a packing list – but in short:
